Celebrating Phenomenal Women

“Behind every successful woman is a tribe of other successful women who have her back” -Unknown

I think there is no greater need than right now, to have women come together to support each other. We’ve learned that we are stronger together and it’s been a challenge for decades to join hands because of the stereotypes society has placed on us.

Even as a writer, early on I found it was hard to build my brand by myself. I couldn’t do it without help and I couldn’t find help, because all my fellow writers were in the same mentality as I was, “Each women for themselves”. The funny part is, my brand didn’t start to grow until I joined a community whose goal was to rise each other up. We didn’t have to tear each other down to build another up. We didn’t pit against one another and there was never any backstabbing. Imagine that…hundreds of women & no catfights. No dramatic 200 comment argument on Facebook.

I wanted to take the inspiration I receive from this community and share it with you all, which is why I’m starting this phenomenal women series. Over the next month or so, I will be spotlighting some kickass women. I won’t share names yet, but you’ll be able to read advice from a celebrity stylist, published authors, a missionary, an artist, business owners, moms, wives…

Now, where did I choose these women? Actually, if you follow me on Instagram, you saw that I asked you all to nominate a woman you believe is worthy of being featured (honestly, all of you are). I was blown away by how many of you all came together to pick these amazingly successful ladies! Though the series is starting, the form for nominations is still open, so click here if you’d like to nominate someone as well.

The first phenomenal woman we will be celebrating will be…wait…you’ll find out Monday. šŸ˜‰ Make sure to subscribe (if you haven’t already) so you get notified as soon as the interview is live.
