Every year I set my Goodreads Reading Challenge. I usually a goal to read 12 books during the year and every year I surpass that goal. Of course, the ONE year I increase my goal to 30 books is the year I hardly read.
Goodreads says I read 18 books this year, and I guess that’s a lot to some…but it’s really not for me. On a good month, I can get through four fiction books and several nonfiction. Hitting 30 books in one year is quite an easy feat.
Alas, I’m probably not going to reach my goal and that’s okay.
This month, the only things I’m working on reading is re-reading Spiritual Weapons Handbook: A collection of prayers, declarations, and teachings to blast the devil.
And I’m reading Where the Crawdad Sings.
Quite the difference, huh?
Hopefully I’ll finish both by the end of the month.
What about you? What book has got you hooked?
